Learning new tricks on the slopes or the rink often means taking a few tumbles.
Hitting the snow park or the local skate rink is always a thrill, but frequent falls can quickly put a dampener on a good session. Finding gear that doesn't feel bulky or restrict your movement can be tricky. These ice skating protective shorts address that balance with a low-profile, flexible design that sits comfortably under your trousers. Thick cushioning is strategically placed around the hips, thighs, and tailbone to offer impact resistance right where it is needed most.
Why are these protective shorts so popular?
- Tailbone cushioning: Thick padded panels are strategically placed to absorb the impact of backwards falls.
- Unrestricted mobility: The highly flexible base fabric moves with your body during sharp turns and jumps.
- Active ventilation: Large airy sections aid airflow by allowing body heat to escape quickly.
- Secure placement: A wide, adjustable waistband helps the padding stay correctly positioned without shifting.
- Versatile application: Designed to function equally well for winter sports on the snow or wheeled sports on the tarmac.
